Thailand were the world powerhouse but it was Việt Nam the champion in the quadrant (team of four) event of the World Sepak Takraw Championship, also known as King''s Cup, on July 27 in Songkhla Province, Thailand.
Defeating arch-rival Thailand, Việt nam made history with the first ever World Cup sepak takraw title in women''s quadrant category on March 21 in India.
